Exercise and diet pills post-gastric bypass

After undergoing gastric bypass surgery, you might be feeling a little extra eager to see results, and even while you're consuming your post-gastric bypass diet, you might not be feeling that the effects are showing up quickly enough. At some point, you might be even tempted to clock in hours of exercise or to start taking diet pills, just to speed things up a little. The question is: Should you go for it?

The answer: no. You should let your body recover after such a major type of surgery. Exercising will strain your stomach and cause you a lot of discomfort, more than what you have already been feeling, while diet pills are not advisable for your new system. The best thing for you to do is just to let the effects of gastric bypass surgery do its work and not to rush it. Be patient, and keep your body nourished with your gastric bypass diet meals and vitamin supplements to help your body take in more nutrients.
